Healthy Cooking Oil and How to Use Them: Honestly, pure ghee or home-made butter is the best cooking medium. Dehydrogenating oils, even the filtered ones, are ‘fattening’. Use a medically prescribed brand of oil.
Use oil as little as possible. Steamed food is more nutritious than the boiled food. Garnished steamed food is tasty and takes minimum oil. Don’t use deep frying cookery. Substitute it with shallow or tava-frying. (Better use a nonstick frying pan. It needs less oil.)
